Duties
- Perform restoration work on properties damaged by water, fire, or other disasters
- Lead crew of technicians
- Conduct asbestos abatement and removal as necessary
- Clean and restore carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces affected by water or fire damage
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete restoration tasks
- Build and construct structures as needed for restoration projects
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to ensure safety and prevent further damage
-Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials and supplies for company vehicles
-Maintain inventory of related supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is required
- Knowledge of water damage restoration and fire restoration processes
- Familiarity with asbestos abatement procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
- High School (or GED) diploma
- Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
- IICRC Certifications: WRT required, additional certifications (FSRT, ASD, AMRT etc.) preferred.

-Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Managers
